We started our day with breakfast at Rogers Deli & Café. As I mentioned on Day 4, he was so lovely and opened the doors early today so we could get inside out of the cold.
The ferry trip back, like our trip over, was uneventful.
We headed back to the Cape Jervis Tavern & General Store for lunch again. Met up with Jack but this time we thought we’d try the food at the pub. Danny & I and Linda & Wally played a game of pool and then we all had lunch. To be honest, we probably would have done better with Jack’s fish & chips!
On to Christies Beach Tourist Park yet again for the final night of the “Kangaroo Island Wildlife and Wilderness Tour 2018”.
Dinner that night was at Sunisa’s Thai Restaurant “just a walk up the road and around the corner” from the caravan park. Turns out it was a 10 minute walk and on the way there the heavens opened. Typically, that was the first time we’d had any decent rain since we started and we had no umbrellas. We weren’t too far from the restaurant, thankfully, and after a fabulous meal (hottest Laksa I think I’ve every eaten!) the walk back was very pleasant.
