All Aboard 11/10/2024

Morning was just wandering around and making sure we knew where the ship was docking. Found a Rubber Duck Store. Yes, that’s actually what it’s called and they sell …. Rubber Ducks!

Lunch was at the Prince Henrik hotel pub/restaurant. The barman was lovely and the food was functional.

Boarding the ship was very quick and easy. Our stateroom is very well laid out with plenty of storage.

That afternoon we started with a safety briefing and met the head staff, including:

Jonos (pronounced Yanosh), the tour manager (he looks like Hans the German!).

Captain Richard looks like a dark-haired version of Nicho Hynes and my first interaction with him was while we were doing a quick tour of the ship. He was in jeans & shirt and was moving weights from the gym. He was quite flirtatious with a lady that was walking with us (Joanna). The next time we saw him he was in full uniform. Imagine our surprise!

Arthur does just about everything else. He is very friendly and has lots of fun with the passengers.

All the staff are friendly and clearly love their jobs.

Dinner was relaxed, served in the restaurant. Beautiful food and house wine & soft drink is included.
